My friend and I went to this pub on the 17/10/12 and I needed to make a comment about my experience so here goes, I was given a very warm welcome when we arrived, we were given a number of offers for seating and we chose to sit by the open wood buring fire whiich was lovely. We were then offered the menus for lunch and we chose soup of the day (Stilton and broccoli) We had the Lamb shank creamy mash and seasonal veg, and for desert we had Eton mess which was to die for. The atmosphere in the pub was amazing, they made us feel welcome and ay home, Andy and Roland were great. We even enjoyed sittting outside watching the sheep. Thank you to all the staff.
