Connolly’s - Restaurants in Stratford upon Avon

What is it?
A great little Tapas bar with a small deli just a few minutes outside Stratford-upon-Avon in Tiddington. It’s well worth the short drive as all the food is prepared fresh – you can watch them collect the ingredients from the deli! This small but perfectly formed restaurant certainly brings a taste of Iberia to Stratford-upon-Avon and is perfect for something a little bit different.

After visiting this establishment on a Thursday evening we found we were the only people eating, generally not a good sign… The service was bad (one of the mains wasn’t brought out) I had to ask for more drinks twice and even my fork back at one point. The place was so cold we had to eat wearing our coats with a mobile radiator dragged up close only to be told that usually the fire is lit. I do have to say that the food was good, the chorizo with onions was fantastic… Is it a bar, is it a deli, is it a tapas restaurant or maybe prehaps it’s an art gallery…. I don’t know. I think it’s got potential but alas also an identity crisis.
